I’ve mentioned in previous posts that this year, our focus is on simplicity. We’ve been adding features for so long that it’s time to push pause on new features, and instead make the ones we’ve already got even easier to use. This looks great Tyler. I am always filtering my contacts to find those I havent spoken to for more than 6 months. This will help me filter those contacts easily and know when to contact the customers that havent contacted me ---

Looking forward to trying this! Is the list of saved views sortable in some fashion? What happens if the list is too long to fit in the available horizontal space? ---

Great questions! You can drag-and-drop the views into whatever order you want. The first view is the one that will appear by default by that page, so this gives you the ability to control your default display as well as any additional views you want. If you have too many views to fit in the horizontal space, the last tab will say “more” and when you click on it, it’ll show a dropdown with all the views that couldn’t fit horizontally. So you can make as many views as you want! ---

Thanks Tyler, this is intuitive and also really useful. I am still relatively new to LACRM but I’m taking a bit of time each week to watch these videos and try out what I have learned. The system functionality is perfect for what I need, but it is so responsive too, no lag at all. The usability of clicking on a function and getting an instant response is fantastic for a user. Just one request, the voice-over on the video is very fast. It’s like it’s playing at double speed. Any chance of slowing down a little for future videos? ---

Thanks, I’m glad these videos are helpful! Sorry if the playback speed is annoying. These videos are hosted on Loom, and my understanding is that if you’re seeing a faster playback speed, it’s probably because some time in the past, you watched a Loom video (many companies use this tool) that had a fast playback speed, and that became your default. I really appreciate the saved views, but it seems a little awkward to get to them (CRM icon, specific pipeline report, then desired saved view). Part of the awkwardness is remembering where I started from to create the saved view, because now in my mind I’m thinking of what I called the view, not where it originated. A thought: There seems to be unused space under “Reports” in the Workspace menu. Thanks for the suggestion! The tough thing is that I think different people want access to different things. Some might want saved views, others might want to jump to a form, a specific file, etc. I’m not sure if this will work for you workflow, but we’re about to share a new “Scratchpad” workspace widget. It’s meant primarily for jotting down temporary notes, but it could also be used to create a list of links to other places in the CRM. So from your workspace you could see a list of “favorite” links. Or you could bookmark specific saved views in your browser to get there quickly. I realize that’s a pretty hacky workaround, but I just mention it as a possible short-term solution. I’ll put more thought into this. ---

Thanks for responding - and yes, I can see that. Maybe for long term consideration – perhaps all sorts of things could be starred, as I can now with companies/contacts, and have all such favorites appear on one list - contacts, saved views, pipeline reports… For the time being, I’ll stick with the tried and true browser bookmark method for the views I use all the time.
