Hello! I just sent a bulk email to 47 people using BCC in Gmail without realizing it wasn’t going to log this activity in the CRM. I’ll go back and forward them individually now. Does anyone have any workarounds for automatic logging when sending emails in bulk? Thanks in advance. –Michele
UPDATE: Just realized I can’t forward these emails to the CRM because I used BCC. Instead, I bulk added a note to these records with a reference to the email. Live & learn!

Yep, I’m afraid we aren’t able to log or forward emails where the contact is BCCed, sorry about that! I’m glad you found the workaround of bulk adding a note, that’s definitely the best option here.
As a bit of an aside, we do also have an automatic email logging option so you don’t have to BCC your logging address. However, that also won’t work if you BCC contacts on a group email like this, it’ll only capture emails in the “To” or “CC” fields.
If you’re planning to do a lot of bulk emailing, I might recommend taking at our integration with Mailchimp. That integration works by syncing a group in LACRM to an audience or tag in Mailchimp. You can create and send out an email campaign through Mailchimp, and it’ll automatically be recorded to the contact history in LACRM.

Thank you for the reply. I have the MailChimp integration activated for those who have opted in to my mailing list. In this case, I was sending to non-subscribers.
I remembered Gmail’s Mail Merge feature & will use that in the future. You can bulk send using To: and Google will send individual emails. This should also automatically log to LACRM.

Gotcha. Yes, I believe Gmail’s Mail Merge will work for the future for you too!
