How are you using QuickBooks alongside LACRM?

For those using (or want to use) both LACRM and QuickBooks together: How are you managing the overlap today?

Anything you wish was easier or more connected between the two?

we use both but mostly as separate systems tbh. LACRM for contacts and pipeline, quickbooks for invoicing. the main pain point is theres no native sync so when a deal closes i manually create the invoice in QB. i set up a zapier zap to push new LACRM contacts into QB as customers which saves some time, but its one-directional. biggest wish would be seeing invoice status from QB right on the LACRM contact record without switching tabs.

Thanks for responding so thoughtfully! I think it would be tricky to automate a native sync as you explain it because each LACRM user might have a different pipeline and different definition of “done, now send the invoice” - would you agree? Also what would an invoice status look like for you in detail? An invoice status for every unpaid invoice, and where would you like to see it? If you have time, I’d love to meet and chat for 15-30 minutes one of these days so I can pick your brain about how you’re thinking about this. This could maybe help deliver a better solution on this front

Full disclosure: I am working on an active integration to help solve some of these sync problems between LACRM and QuickBooks which you can find on the integrations page.
