How do you handle contracts? Internally or would I need to integrate something for that?

LACRM user Katie asks:

How do you handle contracts? Internally or would I need to integrate something for that? I’m thinking specifically sending them out, collecting signatures, populating name/date fields, etc.

This is a question we hear pretty often, especially since so many LACRM users work in the services industry.

While we don’t have a tool called “Contracts” explicitly, many of our users actually use our form builder to design service agreements and contracts.

Three main features in our form builder make it a great option for agreements and contracts:

  1. The “Section header” and “Paragraph” fields allow you to add sections and free-form text to build out the body of your agreement or contract in the form.
  2. The “Signature” field allows you to require an e-signature from your respondent (signatures are required by default, so someone cannot submit a form without first signing that field!).
  3. The “Checkbox” field allows you to go for a lighter-weight version of consent collection by letting someone check off an “I agree to the terms of this agreement” box instead of using their signature. You can always use both to make sure your respondent has understood what they’re agreeing to.

Need an example? Here’s LACRM’s affiliate program contract that is signed completely online and sent over to our affiliate team. By using an LACRM-built form, we can make sure every signed contract gets automatically attached to the correct contact, and is added to our affiliate pipeline for follow-up!

Are there any agreements or contracts that you currently use a different tool for that can be migrated to LACRM? Not sure how to build one? Comment below and we’ll help you out!
