Despite my best efforts to stay on top of them, some of my tasks go stale and are not longer needed. After 5 years of LACRM use, I have lots of old outstanding tasks - most need to be deleted but some need to be marked completed.
- Being able to filter the task report by date helps somewhat, but since many of the the tasks are generated from Zapier, I have many with similar text. It would be nice to be able to filter the report by a text string.
- Hand in hand with that, it would be nice to be able to do bulk actions on tasks - particularly “complete all” and “delete all.” That way I could filter to show only tasks I want to deal with, then handle them all at once.
We have talked about potentially adding an option to delete tasks in bulk, as well as being able to filter tasks. Deleting tasks in bulk is something we’d like to add in the future, but gets a little tricky to design since you’d need a way to select tasks (for example, you can select contacts by checking a box, but for tasks you’d need to differentiate between the box to complete a task vs select a task). We are hoping to add some kind of filtering or sorting options to tasks as well, though I can’t make any promises about exactly what that might include. I’m afraid I don’t have a timeline on either of those; sorry I don’t have better news for you now, but those are both definitely on our radar as potential task improvements!
