I’ve been using LACRM since 2020, and we use pipelines for a lot of things, to the point where they’re causing clutter.
Being able to collapse them is helpful, and being able to “fly-over” and interact with the pipelines without expanding is nice, but when I’m dealing with dozens of clients a day, some of who have multiple open pipelines of different types, the little “1 active, 6 closed” text doesn’t always stand out.
- I’d like a 3-way toggle for pipeline display: open, collapsed, and active only. For the latter, active pipelines would be visible as if the section was collapsed but completed pipelines would not be.
- I’d like any pipeline group with open pipelines to appear at the top of the pipeline section, above all groups with only closed pipelines.
- When a group is closed, I’d like the “1 active” part of “1 active, 6 closed” to somehow stand out more - whether that is with font color, or status dots, or something else.
- Finally, I’d like some automated way to be able to archive all pipelines of a certain type older than a certain date, across all clients. Archiving could be as simple as recording a history entry with the pipeline details before deleting the pipeline.
Thanks for sharing those suggestions! We have previously discussed an option for collapsing closed pipeline items, but having the active pipeline items appear on the contact record. That’s a bit more limited than the option you described, and I’m afraid we don’t have a timeline on when something like that might happen.
I will bring that up with the team, as well as your suggestions for emphasizing the number of active items, or archiving pipelines. I can’t make any promises, but I’ll let you know what the team says!
I’m afraid it’s unlikely that pipeline are reordered on the contact based on active pipeline items. That gets a bit tricky technically, and could create some confusion if pipelines are in different orders for different contacts based on which one(s) are active. Sorry I don’t have better news for you on that one!

@tbridgman I just wanted to update you since we’ve had a chance to discuss this as a team. I’m afraid I don’t have a whole lot of news for you here: we are still hoping to add an option to collapse closed pipeline items and keep active pipeline items more visible on the contact, but I don’t have a timeline on when that might happen. Now, we are looking at more of a redesign of the contact record in particular, and we will keep your feedback in mind as we work on that. (If you haven’t seen it yet, Tyler talks about it more in his roadmap here!)
