Custom Field: Source

I created a custom field called Source with a pull down menu for choices like:

  • Chamber of Commerce
  • Grand Connection
  • Introduction
  • LinkedIn
  • Reddit
  • Website

This makes it easier for me to see where my best leads and customers are coming from.

I also have another field for the person who referred them so I know who my best referral partners are and can thank them for their referrals.

I love a good source field! Tracking source is so important, and being able to filter to see where leads and customers come from is really helpful.
I manage our recruiting, and I use a source field to see where applicants come from. Then, I can look back to see what career events were (or were not!) worth it, as well as what sources we’ve been most successful hiring from in the past!
