Is there any way for me to allow other users to view my tasks that aren’t linked to a contact, other than by creating a dummy contact and linking the tasks there?
There isn’t a way to pull a list of tasks not associated with a contact I’m afraid. Users could potentially use the Task report to pull up your tasks, but that’d include all of your tasks. There isn’t a filter for tasks associated with a contact, so they’d have to look through your list to see if a task was associated with a contact or not. I think the workaround you suggested of creating a dummy contact and linking them all there is probably best!
This might be going a bit overboard for what you have in mind, but you could potentially create different dummy contacts by subject matter. For example, an “Accounting” contact for anything accounting/bookkeeping related, an “Office management” contact for office related tasks, etc. You’d end up with more dummy contacts then, but other users could also search by subject matter to pull up the contact to see those specific tasks, instead of all of the tasks on one general dummy contact.
